Dream Finders Homes (DFH) is a publicly-traded company and one of the fastest-growing homebuilding companies in North America. DFH builds homes in Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Colorado, Virginia and Maryland.

Overall Internship Program Description: The program is a paid summer internship for students seeking career growth and development in Accounting. The participants will be exposed to multiple functions and levels in the organization through shadowing, attend process improvement training, lead a process improvement project with defined outcomes, and provide support on transactional work.

Timeline: May 14th to August 9th

Intern Roles and Responsibilities

• Extensive research

• Initiate and attend meetings

• Analyze both quantitative & qualitative data

• Creating PowerPoint & Presenting

• Shadowing in multiple departments

• Application of new learned topics (six sigma, lean etc.)

• Project management and Process improvement project
