Branch Manager / Senior Escrow Officer
Houston, TX, US
- Oversees daily activity of a title & escrow branch.
- Supervises staff and is responsible for coaching, mentoring and training all escrow staff.
- Directs and manages workflow and resolves escalated issues.
- Works with internal and external customers to manage all aspects of routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure.
- Ability to read and understand title commitments.
- Ability to resolve title issues (e.g. corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments)
- Understands real estate regulations and guidelines.
- Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business.
- Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
- The work environment is representative of an office setting

- Texas Licensed Escrow Officer
- Texas Notary Public
- Minimum of 5 years of escrow experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferred
- Knowledge of SoftPro a plus
- Builder title experience preferred
- High school diploma is required
- Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
